On Sunday, August 21 after worship, volunteers bagged 2,500 pounds of potatoes for our neighbors. The Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) relies on volunteers to create individual portions for families experiencing food insecurity. On the first Saturday of each month, a team of volunteers gathers at the AFAC warehouse to do exactly what we did this past Sunday—prepare food for distribution.
