Successful Inova Blood Drive at St. Michael’s
The weather cooperated just long enough on Saturday, October 16 for St. Michael’s to host another successful blood drive in Kim Sutter’s honor. We had 36 appointments and 3 walk-ins from the neighborhood. It was a pleasure to see so many friendly St. Michael’s faces showing up to make such a profound impact in the lives of people in need of the life-saving gift. Factoring in deferrals and a couple cancellations, we collected 28 units. As soon as the last donor climbed up onto the bus, and the tables and chairs were brought inside, the skies opened up and the rains poured down on a successful drive. Many thanks to everyone who showed their support, whether there to donate or just stopping by to say hello.
