Interested in Joining the Arts & Faith Ministry?
The Arts & Faith Ministry, which is responsible for the visual art exhibitions that appear in our Parish Hall, is seeking one or more volunteers to provide on-site assistance. Neither an arts background nor exhibition experience is necessary.
Your primary tasks will be to: receive delivery of artworks; hang artworks in the Parish Hall, and mount labels, if needed; prepare Exhibition Notebook; place supporting materials (e.g., business cards, Exhibition Notebook) in the Parish Hall; publicize the exhibition in the community (e.g., place, as allowed, flyers or other notices in Westover stores); monitor sales of artworks; help set up Parish Hall for Artist Talk or Demonstration; take down artworks at close of exhibition and ensure they are picked up by the artists; perform other exhibition-related tasks as needed and requested.
