Fellowship

Fellowship is cherished part of our parish life, allowing us to connect with one another, often over coffee at Coffee Hour.

For the remainder of the summer, we will offer a respite to those who host coffee hour on a weekly basis. We will move to a more informal system of hosting. Meaning, there is a white board at the bottom of the stairs in the parish hall asking for volunteers to host coffee hour the following Sunday. There is a slot for someone to make coffee, and two slots for cleanup. (Note, one person can fill more than a single slot. You do not have to have three people for these tasks.) If you’ve never assisted with coffee hour, this is a great time to partner with an experienced host to learn the routine. If no one signs up to host, we’ll make coffee once worship has concluded, and ask for volunteers to clean up at the end of the morning. Meaning, have no fear: there will be coffee!

In case you were not aware, our “normal” procedure is a rotation among various ministry teams, who are assigned one Sunday per month. Amongst that ministry, various individuals sign up for hosting duties on the given Sunday of the month. In August we’re going to invite new ministry teams and individuals to join in hosting weekly coffee hour. Please join me in thanking those who reliably host weekly coffee hour!
