Warm/Cool Exhibition by Studio 10 Artists

Studio 10 Artists have hung a new series of works at St Michaels. The exhibit is hung in the main hallway of the church, so that it may be viewed by all before entering the sanctuary.

The inspiration for the exhibition is “Warm/Cool”. It can be noted that each painting tends to be mainly rendered in cool or warm tones. The works include spiritual, natural, abstract, and figurative contemplations. Paintings are either donated to the church or are available for purchase.

Studio 10 Artists is a creative collaborative made up of award-winning Arlington artists Elisabeth Hudgins, Kat Jamieson, Linda Maldonado, Elise Ritter, and Deborah Taylor. All exhibit their paintings at Sterling Framing & Gallery, in Cherrydale, and are members of the Arlington Artists Alliance.

This Studio 10 Exhibition is part of St Michaels’ ongoing Arts and Faith ministry, created by The Rev. Beth Franklin and curator Maureen Doallas.

Maureen has produced meaningful and evocative exhibitions online and on-site at St Michaels for several years. Studio 10 Artists previously presented Ambient Light and the Divine Feminine through St. Michaels’ Arts and Faith ministry. The Studio 10 Artists are honored to have their work featured near the sanctuary at St. Michaels, and hope viewers enjoy contemplating the new works.
