Blood Donation Opportunities
Natural disasters like the recent tornados in Kentucky and surrounding Midwest are a heartbreaking reminder that blood donations are a constant need. Prior to the tornado outbreak, the nation was already facing historically low blood supply challenges and more donors are needed to ensure a readily available blood supply.
While St. Michael’s does not currently have any blood drives scheduled, if you are interested in donating blood, there are many opportunities to do so in the area. Consider making an appointment today as both INOVA Blood Donor Services and the American Red Cross will gratefully accept donations at their local collection centers.
