St. Michael’s is richly blessed by the ministry of our dedicated Lay
Eucharistic Ministers, or LEMs, who administer the chalice during the
Eucharist.
LEMs
also lead the congregation in the Prayers of the People, and on
occasion, bring Holy Communion to those unable to come to church. Some
LEMs also regularly serve in the Nursing Home Ministry.
LEMs
are selected by the Rector and licensed by the Bishop, according to
Diocesan practice. We are especially grateful to have youth members
(minimum age is 16). If you feel a call to this ministry or would like
to know more about it, please contact Mother Leslie at rector@stmichaelsarlington.org.
