Sunday School to Aid Animal Shelter:Through Sun. Feb. 12, Karen DeCarlo’s class is collecting old sheets, blankets, and towels to be used for bedding at the animal shelter in Arlington. There is a box in the Parish Hall for collection.
Volunteer at the A-SPAN Emergency Winter Shelter on Mar. 2nd: St. Michael's has committed to provide staff to help serve dinner and to hand out toiletries and bedding. Region 3 Lenten Series Features VTS Dean Markham Join
members and friends of the Region 3 (Arlington) Episcopal parishes to
eat, study and worship together during Lent (see schedule at right). The Very Rev. Ian Markham, Dean and President, Virginia Theological Seminary, will be the speaker at each Tuesday evening session, on the theme Enjoying the Episcopal Liturgy and Letting Life Be Different. The culminating multi-media event on April 1 will feature instrumental and choral works of Haydn and Handel.
